This house from the nineties was a strange place. The back door was gone and the place was clearly abandoned, but it was a eerie feeling walking inside. First of all there were stuff everywhere – books, personal pictures, furniture, a driving license, a record player with records, board games, letters, newspapers and clothes. Second, the power was still on. I tried turning on a vacuum cleaner plugged into the wall socket. It worked, but it smelled terribly so I shut it of. Another peculiar thing with this place was that it was filled with thousands of empty beer cans. An old cigarettes. In a pile of old newspaper in the living room was a dead owl. The one hanging on the wall looked better even with its spider webs. This house had a weird vibe and I wondered what had happened here and why it was abandoned.
I was almost glad to get out in the fresh air and sun.
It looks as though the owners are going to come back any second. Like they have just nipped out to the shops (possibly for more beer?).
