Rusty Artillery Tower in Sweden
I’m not usually fond of heights. Climbing structures and rusty ladders makes me feel uneasy and unsafe. But when we found this concrete tower in the woods I knew I had to try. So I climbed up the coastal artillery tower from WW2 to get a better view of the surroundings and find out what was on the top.
The top had a circular armored dome, fences around and a small room in the front with steel hatches on every window. I guess the view to the ocean was much better in the old days without the trees.
The tower is located in southern Sweden near the coast. If you have more history about the place or other stories, please share them in the comment section. Would love to learn more about this place.
